I put Chia seeds in everything I can think of. Smoothies, granola bars, muffins, etc... They are such a great source of omega 3 fatty acids, and I know we don't get enough of them on a typical day. Omega 3 fatty acids are so important for mental health, so I feel it's a real must in our day to make sure we get as many of them as we can! Plus my kids can't taste them, and I think they actually enjoy picking them out of there teeth after they get stuck there.
Originally for gospel study I was printing coloring pages for them to color on, but I'm really loving just watching what they come up with. It's so much more fun, and they get really into their drawings. Nora was upset about the black "narwhal" on her picture, because little sister Emy added that feature, and it was not appreciated.
